Baby Basics class:  Takes place in your home prior to delivery.  Discusses everything from diapering to what to expect during birth.  We will make sure you know how to use all of your baby gear and answer any questions you may have.

 

RN for Day/Evening care: Minimum of 6 scheduled hours 

RN for Overnight care: Minimum of 8 scheduled hours

Newborn all inclusive package: Baby Basics class prior to delivery and 2 shifts (day or night) per week for 6 weeks once home from hospital

In home nursing care includes/but not limited to:

 

   Care for the newborn: Help with bathing, swaddling, soothing, colic, reflux, diapering, safe sleep techniques, circumcision and cord care. 

 

   Postpartum support for the mother: Instructions for vaginal and cesarean delivery recovery including perineal care, monitoring incision for signs of infection, when to call the doctor, and movement techniques to decrease pain and discomfort. Emotional support in a professional, calming, and nonjudgemental manner.  Breast health and how to care for sore nipples, engorgement, latching, nursing positions, pumping frequency, and proper milk storage.  Formula feeding including how much/often, preparing bottles, and monitoring infants tolerance.

 

   Light household chores, nursery organization, newborn laundry, washing/sanitizing bottles and pump parts. Providing peace of minds for parents to focus on self care.
